I just wanted to pop in to share some big news with all of my readers! Isabel Mendez (Crisdam Designs) is a wonderful designer that I have the privilege of scrapping for and she has opened a New Store. It’s over at MScraps and she is filling it with her goodies. The best news… everything is 30% off until 9.26.11.
Check out some of her great kits on sale and stock up now!
Oh, and I completed the LO with Brown Eyed Girl I mentioned earlier this week. It can be found at ScrapMatters.
Here’s my LO created for the Scraplift Challenge over there. Click through the link to check out the original page :)… it’s awesome.
And last but not least, the ScrapMatters designers are offering another awesome collab… on Sale now! It’s called Unforgettable and follows the same color scheme.
Pretty, huh? Now let’s go shopping and scrap, scrap, scrap! And have a great weekend.
I finished my page with the beautiful ScrapMatters Collab called Vintage Surf Shop and I just love how it turned out. I altered the image of Arabella on the beach and it turned out lovely. Well, that’s my opinion and the only one that really matters to me, LOL!
Here’s the lovely kit…
But wait, there’s more, hehe… The ScrapMatters Design team created another kit with the same colors called Brown Eyed Girl. Isn’t it yummy?
Well, since I am a Browned Eyed Girl and I have a Brown Eyed Girl, I’m a bit partial to this. I plan on scrapping with it really soon so I’ll show you my stuff in a bit!
Have a great week!
This summer I took the kids to the beach for the 1st time in years, so my pictures are precious from that trip. I wanted to find some pretty and a little unusual “Beachy” kits to scrap them with. Well, take a gander this one…
It’s a Collab called Vintage Surf Shop and it’s from the ScrapMatters Designers so you know it’s high quality and awesome! The colors are gorgeous and who doesn’t love that little lizard dude? hehe… Anyway, I plan to grab it soon while it’s ON SALE and whip up a couple of pages with it… I’ll show you later. I know I’ve been terribly slack with this little blog lately, but Back to School has been kicking my tail. I’ll try to do better now that we are in a tiny bit of a routine :).
Thanks for stopping by.
I want to share a fun July 4th (and more) kit from Andilynn Designs at ScrapMatters. It’s called July Birthday and has a set of coordinating Paint Accents to go with it as well.
Don’t you just love it? I made this 2 pager to go with it and the template I used was from Little Green Frog Designs…
Journaling: One of the most anticipated part of our July 4th celebration is the Sparklers! Even if they are hiding in the house or covering their ears during the actual fireworks portion of the night, the kids always emerge when it’s time to play with these little fire sticks. As a Pediatrician, you would think I would know better than to allow my young offspring to hold live fire mere inches from their hands, but alas, I do it each and every year. And I usually get some pretty cool photos. Bonus! These particular photos were taken in 2009 (Arabella) and 2008 (Joe and Jake), but they represent similar pics from over the years.
Oh well, it’s just once a year and so far, we all still have the correct number of fingers. Yay, Mom!
I do! I do! And Wyld Web Designs has some new templates out today that are gorgeous.
Singular Sensation is perfect for your one photo Layouts…
And Strive for Five is fabulous for some multi-photo pages…
And here’s some great news. If you just can’t decide, you can get all four templates for one great price… only $2.80 right now for the bundle. This is a great deal!
I used this fun, girly kit called Simply Charming and one of the Singular Sensation templates to create a page of my daughter, Arabella….
Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy!
This is such a FUN Grab Bag! And it is seriously FULL! The full reveal is in the store (linked to the image) but I’ll tell you the kit alone is worth the price of this Bag, which is only $4! And it’s called Swagger Wagon vs. The SUV. Cute, huh? Are you on the side of the SUV or the Mini-Van? hehe
Here’s a Layout I made with the Grab Bag and a cool Template from Jen Graham called I See You.
Journaling: I went into the Mini-Van stage of life kicking and screaming. I was pregnant with Arabella and the five of us just wouldn’t fit in the Highlander. I must say, however, that I was the only one unhappy about the switch. Brad was even enamored with our new ride. And the boys acted like it was a space ship! The sliding doors, the sunroof, and let’s not forget the DVD player. It was all so very fun for them. Over time I warmed up to the Sienna and came to see it for the blessing that it was. Yep, I’m a Mini-Van mom. Even if the kids don’t play soccer…
Here are TWO super fun Grab Bags from Wyld Web Designs, on sale for a super great price this weekend in honor of iNSD!
One at GingerScraps…
The full reveal is in the store so you’ll know how much goodness you are actually getting for your 5 bucks! And here is the LO I created using it.
Journaling: Some of my favorite times of the week are on Wednesday mornings. I’m at home with Abe. Just Abe! He spends a precious couple of hours without any competition for my attention and we both enjoy it. And almost every week, we “take a walk”. We chat and share life on the little stretch of road in front of our house. we speak to the cows & throw rocks in the lake. I know these moments are short-lived and I pray I always apppreciate them.
But wait, there is more! She has also designed an entirely different Grab Bag she is selling at Scrap Matters. Isn’t it cute?!
Here’s the LO I made with this awesome grab bag…
Journaling: So, maybe the Big Brother Knight is being gracious, but this particular Princess certainly enjoyed her sword fighting training. It was our trip to the Medieval Times dinner theater in Atlanta that prompted the hand to hand combat and at any given moment you can find at least two children with sticks or swords a blazing around here. Every once in a while we actually sustain an injury, usually at the hands of Sir Abraham, but for this most part it is just pure fun!
Don’t miss out on this really great deals!
